Hello Everyone,
I know it's a few days early, but I'm wishing you a Merry Christmas. May you take time to enjoy family, friends or whatever makes this season special to you.
My favorite Christmas cards are the ones that remind me about the peaceful nature of this holiday, something completely different than the atmosphere at the mall parking lot, if you've braved it lately. I do think it's easy to forget Peace in the midst of preparations. We justify the stress we put ourselves through by saying we're going good things for the people we love.
However, if the world is to truly know Peace, it has to start in our hearts--in each person's individual heart. I was reading Thich Nhat Hanh's book "Peace Making," where he was discussing anger and war and how little things grow bigger. He said that all big wars start from little wars, from individual confrontations or feelings of anger that go unresolved. At the heart of the global and national strife and war are these single moments of anger left to sprout.
Make this New Year a year of transforming your anger (or worry, or fear, or fill in the blank here) into something good, into Peace. For yourself, your family, your community and the other humans you share this planet with.
Love and Peace to you all,
Kelly

Hi Kelly! Just wanted to let you know that I just downloaded your audio class and did it from home. It was wonderful! What a great idea. I was all ready to come to class this morning when I realized it started at 9, not 10, so the audio version was a great alternative. Thanks for posting it!
